Abdulkadar Chadli had been drinking with Elvis Vickers at his Mousehold Street flat in Norwich on November 1 last year.

Mr Chadli, 48, and Vickers, also now 48, were friends and neighbours who would fall out over disagreements about politics and other topics in the news.

Vickers, who served as a soldier in Northern Ireland, had "fixed and strident views on current affairs" had called police after Mr Chadli was stabbed.
