Matthew Holmes had been charged with assisting an offender, after Kalvin Taylor was stabbed to death in a Mile Cross flat in September last year.

The 52-year-old, from Bowthorpe Road, Norwich, had gone on trial at Norwich Crown Court together with four people accused of Mr Taylor's murder.

But on Monday (December 1) a jury of seven men and five women were directed to find Mr Holmes not guilty of the offence.
