Boaters to pay more to use Broads... and be hit with fines for non-payment
Broads Authority (BA) members have agreed an average 3.5pc increase in toll fees, which people must pay to use the waterways.
Officials say the higher charges will help cover growing costs for clearing weeds, dealing with increasing numbers of abandoned or sunken boats and for chasing people for not paying their tolls.

If people fail to pay on time, they will have to pay £25 for the first warning followed by a second £25 charge for a second warning.
