The Manor House, which was built in around 1876, was designed by renowned architect George Gilbert Scott Junior as the butler’s quarters for the original service wing of Garboldisham Manor.

“Most of the original manor, which was the only country house that the architect completed, was sadly demolished in the 1950s,” explained selling agent Inigo, “as such, the house presents a rare opportunity to acquire a significant piece of Victorian architecture that, while sensitively updated in recent years, brims with period allure.”

The property, which according to Inigo has been “fantastically preserved”, is set in three acres of grounds.

“Light streams through towering windows, illuminating the terrific volume of an internal plan that spans some 3,300 sq ft internally,” Inigo added.

On the ground floor of the property, there’s an entrance hall with space to store coats and boots, and a cloakroom to the right.

Doors from the entrance hall lead to the living room and dining room.
