The party took seats in Attleborough, Dereham South, Elmham and Mattishall, Guiltcross, Launditch, Swaffham, The Brecks, Thetford East, Thetford West, Watton, and Yare & Necton.

Jack White, who was elected to serve for Watton, said he was "ecstatic" about his victory.

He added: "The results show that people have had enough and democracy has spoken. My intention is to stick to my manifesto and deliver for the people.”

Daniel Burcham, voted in for Attleborough, said: "I would like to thank every single person for all of your support throughout this campaign. I truly couldn’t have done it without you.

"Attleborough has spoken. Attleborough wants change. I will not let you down."

David Allen, who was elected to serve the Guiltcross division, added: "This is not a position I will take lightly.

"There is serious need for change in our community, and I will put your concerns at the heart of my position on this Council.
