Pub could have licence revoked amid probe into violent behaviour
The Stanford Arms in Stanford Street, Lowestoft was forced to close last month after its licence was suspended following an alleged incident involving its premises licence holder.
The pub will now have its licence reviewed next week after police raised concerns about “preventing crime and disorder".
It comes after officers arrested a 38-year-old man on suspicion of assault after an incident near the pub on July 18.
The man has been bailed to return to police on August 24, pending further enquiries.
