Offshore apprentices argue they shoud be on same level as university graduates
The apprentices at Seatrium Offshore Renewable Services (ORS) in Lowestoft - a leading provider of innovative offshore, marine and energy solutions - have all gained hands-on experience and professional qualifications without taking the traditional university route.
The company says apprenticeships are vital for developing a future-ready workforce, and former apprentices are already moving into senior positions, studying for higher qualifications and mentoring new starters.
