New figures have shown that a record turnout of more than 40,000 people attended First Light Festival this year on Lowestoft's seafront.

And now a council is set to pump in £1m over ten years into the successful event.

As massive crowds continue to flock to Lowestoft's south beach for the popular free multi arts festival, councillors will meet next week to discuss continuing its financial support for the festival that turned five in 2025.
