Norfolk woman says medical cannabis gave her life back after years of pain
Hannah Nurse, 29, from Costessey, near Norwich, has been formally diagnosed with dysmenorrhea - a condition causing severe and debilitating period pain.
She spent more than six years seeking answers for chronic symptoms including repeated tests, scans and specialist appointments.
Project manager Miss Nurse described the search for a treatment as physically exhausting and emotionally draining, leaving her in constant pain, uncertainty and anxiety about her health.
Her symptoms include severe pain during periods and ovulation, gastrointestinal problems and pain radiating down her legs.
At her worst, she said she was largely confined to bed and needed a walking cane........
