A man and a woman were spotted standing on the wooden barriers at the property on the Sandringham estate, after pulling up in a red car.

The Daily Mail reports that the former prince was inspecting Marsh Farm, on the King's Norfolk estate, when the incident happened on Thursday.

The pair scaled the exterior gate before attempting to see over the fence in front of the farmhouse.

The Mail added that Mr Mountbatten-Windsor's security reacted, and the man and woman drove off.
