Jonathan Reynolds, Secretary of State for Business and Trade, was reassured that Lotus plans to continue its Norfolk operations in a summit with Geely, the majority owner of the brand since 2017.

The Financial Times had previously reported that Geely had considered ending operations in the UK, putting 1,300 jobs at risk in favour of a new plant in the US.........
