A police collision expert told Ipswich Crown Court that a gully at the side of the B1106 caused by heavy goods vehicles had been reported to the authorities ten days before the fatal collision and had been repaired six days after the incident in which 39-year-old Giles Burfield died.

Keeley Pryke, of Cole Drive, Great Cornard, near Sudbury, has denied causing the death of Mr Burfield on February 10, 2022, by careless driving.
