Officers were called to South Beach Parade, towards the outer harbour, at 12.37am on Saturday.

On Monday, police said a suspect was still unaccounted for, with "significant efforts" under way to identify and locate him.

Now the force has confirmed that, although they have identified the man, he remains at large and is understood to have fled the county.

"Enquiries to locate him continue," a police spokeswoman said.
