Fast-food giant confirmed to take over former Riverside Poundland site
The fast food giant has submitted a planning application to open its eleventh Norwich store in the former Poundland site, which has stood empty for more than a year.
Initially coy around rumours of its involvement, the global chain finally confirmed it will be moving into Units 7A and 7B, in Albion Way, at Riverside Retail Park.
A spokeswoman for McDonald's said: "We are excited about the opportunity to open a new restaurant in Norwich, bringing significant investment and new jobs to the local area.
