Destiny Devereux was struck by a blue Dacia Duster on the B1106 Lynn Road at Weeting, near Brandon, on Saturday afternoon.

She was airlifted to Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge, where she later passed away.

Destiny's mother, Stacey Byrne, said: "I still don't know what happened, I'm dying inside.

"She was out with two of her friends. I just can't get it in my head why she was the only one who crossed the road.

"She was so kind-hearted, she didn't deserve this."
