For Meg, it was the discovery of American paper flower artist Tiffanie Turner's work on Instagram that brought all her skills and passions together.

'I've always worked with paper as hobbies -it was my happy place. I've done paper craft, I was a book binder for a while and I've done a lot of paper cutting. I couldn't believe I hadn't found it before - it combined my love of paper and my love of flowers.'

She bought Tiffanie's book to try it for herself - and there was no starting small.

'I started off with the biggest one she had in the book, which was an enormous giant peony, which was about a metre across - so I'd bitten off the biggest bit that I could find. But I wanted the challenge,' she says.

The seeds of something bigger were sown when she took what she had been learning to her monthly art group.

She was making snowdrops and one of her friends asked if she could show her how it was done - and loved it.

'It's so relaxing and it taps into something on a deeper level. I was feeling it, so it was great that she was feeling it and my friends were feeling it too.'

So Meg organised two trial paper flower making workshops for her friends, and after receiving constructive feedback, Floragami was launched.

It was quite the pivot for Meg who was training for a new career as a massage therapist at the time.
