Kieron Williamson: from child prodigy to mature artist

His ability to capture landscapes with stunning detail and depth led to comparisons with renowned artists and earned him the nickname Mini Monet.

His artistic career has been encouraged and nurtured through The Gallery in Holt and continues to attract worldwide interest and critical acclaim, and this month some of his latest works will be going on show.

Amazingly Kieron’s journey into the art world began at the age of five when he developed a keen interest in painting. His parents, recognising his talent, encouraged him to pursue his passion. By the time he was six, his paintings were already attracting attention from collectors and art enthusiasts and his first exhibition in 2009 was a resounding success, with all his paintings selling out within minutes.
