Unusual 'cinnamon' bug spotted in city

Richard Ecclestone, who spends his spare time photographing insects around Norwich, spotted a historically very rare 'scentless plant bug' in a relative’s garden in Cringleford.

Andrew Waddison, a naturalist from Norfolk, said: "I doubt many people in the city would have seen anything like this.

"They are commonly known as a cinnamon bug, and were once very rare.

"But the species has expanded its range dramatically in recent years as a result of climate change.
