City folk outraged after decades-old trees severely cut back in the city
Four willow trees, which can each take up to two decades to grow, have been harshly pruned in Friars Quay by contractors appointed by Norwich City Council.
Workmen have been rapidly chopping down branches from the trees located along the River Wensum next to St George’s Green.
