The proposals received by Breckland Council seek permission to build six houses at the site currently used by Shipdham Bowls Club, near Dereham.

The group has been playing at the lawn overlooked by a pavilion on Fieldfare Loke since the 1990s.

But the site, owned by Shipdham Parish Council, is now set to be sold to housing developers and the club relocated to another site........
