Former soldier diagnosed with PTSD died after fall outside his local

John Murray Adams, 56, of Nethergate Street, Harpley, between Fakenham and King’s Lynn, died at Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge on October 10 – ten days after suffering a traumatic brain injury.

Norfolk Coroner’s Court heard that Mr Adams had a distinguished military career before qualifying as a solicitor.

He served as a non-commissioned officer in the Royal Engineers, working as a bomb disposal engineer.

He left the army in 1997 to study law and worked as a solicitor in private practice.
