Builder, 28, who died in horror crash was not wearing seat belt, court told
Billy Morris was driving along the B1110 Holt Road in Wood Norton, between Guist and Holt, when he lost control on a bend.
His silver Toyota Yaris left the road and hit a tree, ending up on its roof, with Mr Morris - who was on his own in the car - thrown clear of the vehicle through a smashed window.
Following the crash, at around 7.15am on Friday, March 7, the 28-year-old was airlifted to Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Cambridge, where he died of his injuries six days later.

An inquest into his death, held at Norfolk Coroner's Court, heard from eyewitnesses who described how Mr Morris, a builder from Holt, had overtaken two cars shortly before heading into the right-hand turn, travelling at around 60mph.
Driver Colin Edge, who had left his home in Sheringham that morning to travel to Dereham, explained how Mr Morris had overtaken him, as well as the car behind him, a quarter of a mile from where the crash happened.
“It was perfectly safe for him to do the overtake,” he said.
“The car didn’t race away, and I had it in my view right until the collision.
“But it looked like he was going a bit quick for the corner.
