Row over fate of listed Norfolk library heading for the High Court
The Marjorie Kempe Trust has been granted leave for a judicial review of the decision to give the Carnegie Library in King's Lynn to the Norwich-based Garage Trust.
The two were rival bidders for the building and the matter will be heard in London on Wednesday, October 16.
Antonia Hayes, one of the Margery Kempe Trust's founders, said: "The public has a right to clarity on how decisions about their community assets are made. The process for the Carnegie Library has left many questions unanswered.
