Fred Pidcock won one of the two Hunstanton seats on West Norfolk Council, which had been left vacant after long-serving Independent Paul Beal stood down for health reasons.

He received 368 votes in Thursday's poll, seeing of Lib Dem Tammy Edwards (322), Independent Howard Johnston (229), Conservative Ade Adeyemo (224), Independent David Nice (77) and Labour's Christopher Heneghan (40).
