Mystery and mixed views surround Andrew Mountbatten Windsor's move to Norfolk
Andrew Mountbatten Windsor (formerly HRH) has agreed to leave his home at Royal Lodge in Windsor and move to Sandringham “as soon as practicable” after his public life as a royal was ended by the King.
As yet there is no further confirmation of exactly where Mr Mountbatten Windsor might reside, although there are one or two options on the 20,000 acre estate near King's Lynn.
The grounds have been the country retreat of the Royal Family since it was snapped up by Queen Victoria for £220,000 in 1862.
You could not even buy a bungalow in one of the carrstone villages dotted around the fringes of the estate for that these days.
But the King has offered to stump up somewhere his younger brother can live rent-free while he adjusts to his new life.
It's unlikely the dust around the former prince is going to settle any time soon, after a slew of revelations in recent years over his relationship with convicted sex offenders Jeffrey Epstein, Harvey Weinstein and Ghislaine Maxwell.
He hosted all three at his Windsor property, while Epstein is also said to have joined him at Sandringham.

Most damaging of all have been the revelations from Virginia Giuffre, who alleged that Andrew had sex with her on three separate occasions when she was a teenager.
The allegations are repeated in her posthumous memoir Nobody's Girl, which was released on October 21.
