Couple fear sagging floors of their housing association flat could collapse

Bradley Thompson and Tegan Shackloth ran into problems soon after they moved into their new home in King's Lynn in late August shortly after their baby Alice was born in July.

Their landlord Freebridge Community Housing, which owns the £665 a month property, said it had received a complaint from the flat below about the noise they made walking on their kitchen floor.

When the couple replied the floor was sagging and creaking when they walked on it, along with the floors in another rooms of their flat, the social landlord sent out a surveyor to investigate.
