Norfolk council forced to change rules for landlords after legal challenge
Great Yarmouth Borough Council has removed most of the standard conditions that were automatically applied to all licensed properties as part of the selective licensing scheme it introduced earlier this year.
The measures involved making sure landlords were managing their properties properly, ensuring they were safe to live in and not overcrowded.
