The National Police Air Service (NPAS) helicopter took action during a search for drone activity at RAF Lakenheath and RAF Mildenhall between Friday, November 22, and Wednesday, November 27 last year.

Call logs showing the incident were disclosed in a Freedom of Information (FOI) request to Suffolk Constabulary by Stuart Onyeche, who works in aviation.

One of the logs reads: "NPAS is withdrawing due to a drone coming close to them."
