The hefty 40lb catch was made at Narborough Fisheries and was a record for the Millers Lake at the centre.

Luke Boughen reeled in the fish last Tuesday, which tipped the scales at 40lbs 5oz.

The previous record for the lake was 37lbs 9oz, caught almost two years to the day.........
