Recognising the businesspeople making a positive difference

For this edition of the awards, innovation is the top priority, and both the Apprentice of the Year and Behaviour Change Campaign of the Year awards will celebrate businesses and individuals who are making an impact on sustainability in their sector.

Here, the judges for these two awards tell us more about what they will be looking for from entrants.

What do you bring to the judging process? 

I work closely with organisations across the renewable energy supply chain, from developers and manufacturers to technology providers and SMEs. That gives me a broad perspective on the skills, behaviours and leadership qualities that help individuals and businesses succeed in a fast-growing sector.

Have you ever been judged for an award yourself? 

Yes, both personally and through the organisations I’ve been involved with.

I understand the effort that goes into preparing an entry and how important recognition can be for individuals and teams.

How will you use that experience when judging this award?
