Award success for firefighting equipment company founder
The award recognises how Ian Gardner, who founded the business in 1990, has expanded Delta Fire into a global firm that protects lives, supports communities and drives the future of firefighting.
The third-generation family firm, now based in Broadland Business Park on the outskirts of the city, employs more than 40 people.
It combines British engineering excellence with a strong commitment to sustainability, supplying the majority of UK fire and rescue services with their firefighting nozzles, as well as supplying the Royal Navy and customers in more than 100 countries.
