Key themes revealed for upcoming offshore wind conference
Offshore Wind Connections 2026 (OWC 2026) is a two-day event taking place at Hull’s Doubletree by Hilton from April 29-30.
The afternoon sessions on April 30 are themed ‘Why security, resilience, innovation and digitisation now matter to the offshore wind supply chain’. They will assess operational readiness and how businesses act on opportunities.
Morning panel discussions and presentations will look at the national context and policy direction for how offshore wind development is achieved at scale.
OWC 2026 has a strong focus on offshore wind, while showcasing the expanding opportunities emerging across adjacent and enabling sectors including ports, maritime, subsea, digital and engineering.
Now in its thirteenth year, the conference kicks off with a networking evening on April 29, when the exhibition will officially open.
This is followed by a full day of presentations, expert panel debates and networking opportunities, this year incorporating "meet the buyer" sessions for more targeted networking.
After the conference closes on April 30, the venue plays host to the Humber Renewables Awards.
The awards are free to enter across 11 categories, with an entry deadline of March 2.
