Global firm adds wind turbine installation vessel to its fleet
Cadeler, which has an office in Great Yarmouth, has added Wind Pace to its growing fleet of vessels, helping it meet demand for large-scale renewable energy solutions.
The vessel was officially named at a ceremony on March 12 at the COSCO Shipping Heavy Industry shipyard in Qidong, China, where it was built.
After its delivery, Wind Pace will be deployed in the USA from Q2 2025 to Q1 2026, supporting a project at an offshore wind farm in the region, Cadeler’s second project in American waters.
Its sister vessel, Wind Peak, was delivered in August 2024 and has just embarked on its first installation project, the Sofia Offshore Wind Farm, off the Yorkshire coast of the UK.
