Na letališču Otopeni v Bukarešti so danes dopoldne po navedbah AFP odpovedali številne lete, več so jih preusmerili na druga letališča. Romunsko notranje ministrstvo pa je sporočilo, da sta bili na mednarodnem letališču Henri-Coanda zaradi snega zaprti dve pristajalni stezi.

Javni promet v glavnem mestu je bil prav tako močno prizadet zaradi sneženja. Vlaki so na glavno postajo prihajali z več kot šesturno zamudo.

Zaradi novozapadlega snega so v več delih države zaprli avtoceste in glavne ceste, je sporočila prometna policija.

Samo v Bukarešti so reševalne službe morale odstraniti več kot 240 podrtih dreves in 18 stebrov daljnovodov, ki so klonili pod težo snega.
