LAHORE: President Asif Ali Zardari has said that problems of the people are decreasing and economic indicators are improving.

Speaking at a dinner hosted by the former governor of Punjab Makh­doom Ahmed Mahmood, President Zardari highlighted the current economic situation of the country and various ref­orms undertaken by the government and stressed on further imp­roving the performance of the administration.

Talking about his recent visit to China, the president said that it was very successful and both China and Pakistan are taking joint steps for development of the region.
