Mountain Bikers of the Central Okanagan celebrated another successful year with the biggest event of 2025 on Oct. 4 and 5.

The Cranksgiving Festival and Enduro returned with two incredible days of racing, community and good times, a true grassroots celebration of mountain biking in the Okanagan," says Marieke De Jonge, MTBCO's marketing and communications director.

“The Saturday saw 50 riders take on the family-focused and beginner-friendly Funduro with plenty of first-time racers getting their first taste of enduro-style racing. There were smiles all around as riders crossed the finish line, wrapping up the day with prize giveaways and a well-earned pizza party," she said.

"Sunday’s Enduro was, once again, sold out (with) 100 racers on the start line. What a weekend on the trails. It was a perfect example of how the local mountain bike community shows up and makes it happen."

This is an exciting time for the MTBCO, with multiple fun projects in the works, she added.

"It was great to see what the City of Kelowna built with the DeHart pump track this year and what the District of Lake Country built with the Lake Country Bike Park. Building off of that, we are looking into what can be done in Rutland to improve the bike park there."
