A/C For Me, But Not For Thee
A/C For Me, But Not For Thee
The heat-related deaths across Europe serve as a warning that adhering to unrelenting ideologies devised by those without common sense and a sense of realism can cost lives;

After living in the Sunshine State for most of my life, I can tell you that, as far as I’m concerned, air conditioning (A/C) is one of the wonders of the world. After we suffered back-to-back hurricanes in late 2024, we lost power for eight days. It sounds trivial compared to what others have gone through and continue to go through, but I’m not complaining. I simply wanted to make a point that when you lose something that you have learned to depend on, you appreciate it so much more when it returns.
So, ask yourself, if the all-time highs were established that far in the past, why was no one worried then?
Losing something as precious as A/C when the heat can be stifling is understandable when it’s caused by a natural disaster. But when it’s lost because of delusional beliefs in one of the greatest hoaxes of the last century, and complicated further by arrogance, that’s too tough of a pill to swallow.
The hoax I’m referring to is climate change. I have written about it many times. I still find it difficult to believe that there are people who can be fooled by such obvious lies. The truth is obvious, and you really don’t have to look very hard to find it.
Just today, for instance, while watching the Weather Channel, they were discussing the current heat wave that’s gripping parts of the country. As they mused about the possibility of breaking all-time highs, most of the previous highs were set over fifty years ago, and some were even older.
So, ask yourself, if the all-time highs were established that far in the past, why was no one worried then? It’s a rhetorical question. The truth is that the weather changes. There are heat waves and cold fronts, and there always will be. Some will be worse than others, but that’s nothing new. They will come and go like they always have; it’s just what the weather does.
The truth is the climate does change; it’s called seasons. Also, no year is exactly the same. Some are cooler, some are hotter, some are wet, and some are dry. That said, “Climate Change” doesn’t exist in the context that the left portrays it.
The Hadley Centre has some measurements beginning in 1850, but there are too few data points before 1880 for scientists to estimate average temperatures for the entire planet. Therefore, the left wants us to believe that they can predict climate........
