Jesus Owns Our Souls, Mr. Carney, Not You

Our souls belong to King Jesus, not to the pathetic and even puny, Mark Carney. It is well nigh impossible for Carney to take our souls. If its human souls he’s after, he’ll have to go digging elsewhere;

Remarkable Missouri friend James Fockler forwarded me a 2017 video of the song, ‘Carry Me Jesus’, sung by Michael Combs, which couldn’t possibly have come at a more auspicious time.

Inconsolable yesterday because of the government’s imminent passage of Bill C-9 (Combatting Hate Act), the worry of all it is designed to do, brought me down with some kind of stomach malady, brought on by a government Bill that attempts to throw Almighty God and any mention of Scripture, by word or meme into the Canadian Liberal Government’s current raging bonfire.

The deafening silence that followed the coming passage of the Bill kept me down in heart and soul yesterday, bringing on another upheaval of our lives as the 4th year anniversary of our escape from Ontario to Nova Scotia arrives this May.

Hoping we would be able to bring it all off, Brian and I launched what we call, ‘Operation CCC’, (Communist Carney’s Canada), our somewhat desperate plan is to escape to America, as tens of thousands of Canadians have already done.

Even with the love and support of so many CFP friends, just thinking of a the bridges we will have to cross just getting to the U.S. is as exhausting as it is daunting.

Listening this morning to Michael Combs singing ‘Carry Me Jesus’ not only left us in goosebumps but gave us a strong surge of renewed hope.

In the almost year that Prime Minister Mark Carney has been in office, he’s taken away the Canada so many of us grew up in. He leads a country that offers physician-assisted suicide (MAID) as the new health norm; a country that leads the world in abortion. Carney has already taken away our ability to pay for food and heat; has majorly distorted our peace of mind and the hope of better days ahead.

The cruelty of Mark Carney, and his Liberal clapping seals knows no bounds, in an era that not even popular podcaster Joe Rogan can bring Conservative Pierre Poilievre into power.

In essence, Mark Carney is the diabolical King Herod of our day.

Driven as he was to do so, King Herod could not have Baby Jesus killed.

in spite of all his assumed Ottawa power, Mark Carney—no matter how relentlessly he tries—cannot take away our souls which belong to a King, whose very Resurrection will be celebrated once again within the next 11 days.

Our souls belong to King Jesus, not to the pathetic and even puny, Mark Carney. It is well nigh impossible for Carney to take our souls. If its human souls he’s after, he’ll have to go digging elsewhere.

The revival was over, he was the last one to leaveWalked to his car in the dark, got out his keysHis old ragged bible, he placed on the seat by his sidePrayed out loud to the Lord and started to drive.

He said carry me Jesus, carry me homeLord, I've done my best, now you do the rest, carry me homeCarry me Jesus, carry me homeLord, I've kept the faith, I've finished the race, now carry me home.

Week after week, year after year this went onThousands were saved, many touched, then he was goneBut a friend of mine told me, he was there by his bedHe said Mike you should've heard the last words that old preacher said.

He said carry me Jesus, carry me homeLord, I've done my best, now you do the rest, and carry me homeCarry me Jesus, carry me homeLord, I've kept the faith, I've finished my race, now carry me home.

You've carried me oh, so many times, my LordI wouldn't have made it on my ownSo when I leave this world behind, my LordWould you carry me, carry me home?

Carry me Jesus, carry me homeLord, I've done my best, now you do the rest, carry me homeCarry me Jesus, carry me homeLord, I've kept the Faith, I've finished my race, now carry me home.

Carry me Jesus, carry me home
