It seemed to come straight out of a Hollywood horror movie. ‘Blizzard 2026’ in this neck of the woods; raw northeast winds, some gusting up to 75 mph, howling winds, louder even than the wolves of cold and hunger hanging outside our doors all of this harrowing winter.

Having been raised in Halifax, N.S., I, not even once ever witnessed such a screeching winter storm. For Canada Free Press, waist-high snow, temporarily interrupted by ice rain, leaving it virtually impossible to see out all of our house windows.

This made our little Yorkie, 12-year-old Yankee, who considers himself our guard dog, mighty uneasy. He looked balefully at the windows, quietly crying to himself, darting behind us when he saw the bank of snow standing there when we opened the front door to let him out for a much-needed bathroom break.

We know that many places were harder hit than where we are in Nova Scotia. Rhode Island, was hammered with some 38 inches—three-plus feet of snow.

CFP feels a kinship with Rhode Island because of Catholic Priest, Father Giacomo Capoverdi, who faithfully saw us through the COVID years.

We were able to spiritually return to Immaculate Conception Church in Westerly, Rhode Island on Sunday by joining their magnificent livestream Holy Mass!

God’s bountiful Blessings on you, Fr. Capoverdi!

Mercifully, we never lost our power, even though Barrington, only a 30-minute drive away, lost most of theirs—and were gratefully able to keep in touch with faraway friends, whom we know were worried about us and praying—Bruce, Jimmy and Kelly among others—while trying to catch up online with the fate of thousands of Canadians stranded in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.

The following is why we thought the record-breaking ‘Blizzard 2026’ met all of the requirements for a straight out of Hollywood type of horror movie:

It was only two months ago when Absentee Canadian PM Mark Carney advised Canadians, who could still afford to travel south on vacation, to choose Mexico over Florida, in his ongoing visceral hatred of Donald Trump’s America.

Thousands of Canadians, who took his advice, and are now trapped in Mexico, have not heard from him since as far as is known. Carney is now planning to jet off to India, Australia and Japan, looking to "attract new investment, and secure new partnerships" to replace the U.S.A., starting on Feb. 27. Carney leaves his number one soured-on-life sidekick ‘Conservative’ Ontario Premier Doug Ford in charge of his anti-Trump media during his absence. Ford has somehow suckered American media, who are reporting: “How can one person, one man, create so much turmoil around the world?…I can’t wait for the midterms.”

The last we saw of Canadian politicians, Liberals and weak Conservatives alike, they were holding hands while hypocritically depositing flowers in memory of the victims of the tragic Tumbler Ridge, B.C. shooting.

Meanwhile, in some places, Almighty God’s sunshine returned one day after yesterday’s horrific storm—proving that Bill Gates—who wants to block it—is no match for our Lord.

All that’s left now is digging out from not just the snow, but from the never—ending ‘Snow Job’ that corrupt Canadian politicians leave heaped upon their struggling masses.

No Hollywood movie can depict real life in today’s media-propagandized Canada, where average Canadians like Canada Free Press will continue to survive the liars who are creating more fantastical lies and fake scenarios—not only to cover over their gross financial mismanagement—but the draconian roles they played during COVID— all by blaming it on the president next door!

They still seem unaware that reality and plain folk common sense will always survive politics!
