Corrupt Elections and the Failure of Western Democracies

Time is short and the danger is real. It is time to petition those who call themselves our representatives to actually represent us and pass SAVE;

An election was held. People were involved. Winners were selected. Results were announced. End of story. No matter if the results actually reflected the will of the voters. The proper forms were followed, the proper steps taken, the results certified by the proper authorities. No matter if the outcome was determined by votes submitted by people who were not legitimately entitled to vote, or worse, were introduced into the system by organizations dumping manufactured ballots into the stream. Only the fact that the results were obtained by an election matter. Not the legitimacy of the election, or the validity of the results--only the process itself.

Is this where we find ourselves today? Not just in America, but throughout the Western world?

Elections have been the keystone in the arch of Western democracies for hundreds of years, now. Remove them, or and the arch collapses. Even just weaken them, build them of inferior material, and the arch will eventually fail. Believe that the stone is solid and secure when it is fractured and of inferior material, and the arch will still fail. Weaken the safeguards that ensure fair and honest elections, and the arch that supports the democracies of the West will fail.

Fair elections are essential to a free society. The enemies of freedom are smart, clever, devious, and dedicated. They should not be underestimated in their ability to mislead, misdirect, deceive, and manipulate, as well as to apply direct power when it is available to them. Socialists promise a fair and equitable society free from want where all share in the bounty of the nation. Islamists promise divine justice and the equality of all men, but not women. Communists promise that there will be no government because people will just automatically do what is right and if they don't,........
