Nigel Farage 'meteoric rise' shows him on course to be the next PM
Startling new polling data indicates that should a general election take place today, Reform UK would emerge in the lead, although they would still require a coalition to form a government.
The polling predictions from YouGov, derived from an extensive mega-poll involving some 11,500 voters, suggest that Nigel Farage's party could secure a remarkable 271 seats. This forecast implies a significant blow to Labour's dominant position of 411 seats, potentially plummeting to just 178, and seeing the Conservative Party dropping to fourth place, trailing the Lib Dems.

Given that no single party appears able to reach the 325-seat majority required for ruling alone, according to the Mirror report, the formation of a coalition government seems imminent. It is projected that even with Conservative support, Farage's Reform UK would fall short, potentially requiring a "rainbow coalition" with at least three parties to achieve a workable majority.
