Drivers over 70 to be banned if they fail eyesight tests in new plan

UK driving laws are poised for a significant overhaul under new government proposals aimed at enhancing road safety - and part of this includes a proposed plan to introduce eyesight tests for drivers aged 70 and above. Driving licences could be revoked if someone fails these tests.
