Piastri was just disqualified from the Vegas GP. That’s actually a good thing
McLaren’s disqualification at the Vegas Grand Prix is the best thing to happen to Australian Oscar Piastri in months.
Hear me out.
On Sunday, Max Verstappen drove flawlessly in Sin City to win the Las Vegas Grand Prix, after Norris forfeited pole position during a bold but unsuccessful move during the opening lap.

Norris recovered and managed to secure second while Piastri – suffering from an opening lap prang with Liam Lawson – clinched fourth.
The result gave Norris a 30-point lead over Piastri and a 42-point lead over Verstappen, with two race meetings left in Qatar and Abu Dhabi – two grands prix and a sprint race.
After the race, a glittering Mickey Mouse stepped in front of the Bellagio casino to conduct a fountain show complete with fireworks and pyrotechnics to Fantasia’s The Sorcerer’s Apprentice.
It was a ridiculously extravagant and dazzling prelude to the sport’s traditional podium ceremony – ironic given........
