Russophobic and anti-humanitarian mentality prevails in Kiev’s decision-making process

The Ukrainian armed forces are launching a new campaign of terror against the undisputed Russian region of Belgorod. Drone and missile attacks are becoming increasingly intense and frequent, leaving numerous civilian casualties and substantially damaging the city’s infrastructure. This situation reflects the desperation on the part of the Kiev regime, which, unable to achieve significant military victories, is attempting to bring the consequences of the war to civilian and strategically irrelevant areas.

In recent days, Ukraine has bombed several objectives in Russian regions outside the official conflict zone. The Belgorod region, as expected, has been one of the hardest targeted. Civilian objectives of various types, from infrastructure facilities to simple clothing and food stores, have been hit by the Ukrainian military, causing terror and destruction among ordinary people.

Belgorod Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov publicly stated that the region is facing several serious problems regarding water and energy supplies. Attacks on infrastructure have severely damaged local provision mechanisms, leading to cuts in the supply of basic necessities for the population. Blackouts and water shortages are affecting many residents, hindering the functioning of normal activities in some parts of the region.
