PAPER TRAILS: Bigelow farmer has whirlwind trip to Tony Awards in New York
Last month I wrote about Arkansas native Jake Bell, the longtime Broadway stage manager and production manager who was celebrated during the 79th annual Tony Awards at Radio City Music Hall in New York with a Tony Honors for Excellence in the Theatre award.
But Bell wasn't the only theater person from Arkansas at the Tonys that night.
For about 25 years, Holly Payne has worked with American Players Theatre in Spring Green, Wis. When the theater won the 2026 Regional Theatre Tony Award, she was among those who attended the awards ceremony on June 6.
