Do we ever do enough?
Democrat-Gazette online
We have three major milestones happening this week in our family. Daughter Adelaide graduates from high school, son Harper graduates from college, and daughter Grace is getting married. When it rains it pours, as the cliché goes, and these three, along with their little sister Stella, have been showering blessings on me all their lives. Their milestones are all sources of pride and causes for great celebration.
Adelaide came into the world with a halo of white hair. And angelic has proven to be her modus operandi. She is the nerve soother and rough-edge smoother of our family. Quiet, funny, and wise. So easy-going that her will of iron surprises people. She works hard. Has freakishly high emotional intelligence. And, like her big brother and sister before her, she will graduate first in her high school class, with plans to go to Arkansas Tech University and become a therapist.
Harper is graduating from the University Honors Program at Arkansas Tech summa cum laude with a B.S. in biomedical biology. He was accepted at every dental school he applied to and chose to go to the new one........
