What a stunning load of hypocrisy from Lake and Hamadeh
We live in a time when the people running the government are making big words like duplicitousness and perfidiousness, and even bigger words like sanctimoniousness, seem … small. Tiny, even.
There is that much hypocrisy.
For example, on June 25, Kari Lake — former TV news reader, failed Arizona governor candidate, failed Arizona senator candidate, and currently sycophant-in-chief and “adviser” to Donald Trump — appeared before the House Committee on Foreign Affairs to defend her assignment to choke the voice out of the Voice of America.
You’d think that an American president ordering one of his shills to silence what the Nazis, the Chinese, the Soviets and the North Koreans could not silence — no matter how hard they tried — would be hypocritically ironic enough.
But no.
On that House committee is Arizona Republican Rep. Abe Hamadeh.
Under Trump’s view of the U.S. Constitution, Hamadeh (a faithful Trump cultist) would not even be a citizen, let alone a member of Congress.
