End Judaism, End Western Civilization

After COVID failed to end the American experiment, antisemitism became the new front in the left’s endless war against Western civilization.

If you missed it, read Victor Davis Hanson’s article entitled “The Four Horsemen of the New Antisemitism,” particularly if you hate Jews or don’t support the necessity of a Jewish homeland. Hanson hits all the right notes in another of his home run essays. Still, he misses the most important takeaway to me, which is that tragic fact that October 7 changed it all.

After most of Western Civilization’s almost unanimous support of Israel from its formation in 1948 to that fateful day on October 7, after the briefest of condolences and turning on a dime, world opinion turned against Israel. For proof, reference the daily occurrences of murders, mayhem, and vitriolic hatred shown to ordinary Jews, especially in predominantly white countries, previously Israel’s greatest defenders.

Most Americans are not chanting extremist slogans. Most Americans are not harassing Jewish students. Most Americans are not calling for Israel’s destruction—but the ones who are get 99% of the airtime. Who and what are driving this false narrative? Before you tune out, let me let you in on a secret: what’s going on has little to do with Jews or Israel, and everything to do with the fate of the Western world.

COVID ushered in an era characterized by the manipulation of the American public through social media and by government officials’ never-ending pronouncements that falsely screamed, “It’s all about the science.” Only later did we discover it was much more about changing our culture while they had unprecedented power and control over us. Who could have imagined that the government would lock people in their homes, close “non-essential” businesses, and dictate group thinking on everything from how COVID started to social distancing to the jab and much, much more?
